Half-Life 2: Episode 1

152 words.

I downloaded Half-Life 2: Episode 1 from Steam a couple weeks ago for 9.95. Overall it was a quality game and I enjoyed playing it, but I’m glad I got it when it was on sale, because it was really, really short. It only took me a couple of days to go through the entire game. It wasn’t quite as good as the original Half-Life 2 mainly because I thought it was just too quick and easy. With Alex tagging along the whole time you don’t even have to do much. Sometimes you can literally just stand around while Alex shoots all the bad guys for you. The parts where you have to watch dialog and story elements play out can get a little tedious, too, but that also happened in Half-Life 2. But I still enjoyed it… what little there was of it. I give it a 3… out of 5.
