Video adventures uploaded in the last week or so.

This post is a test of an automated script I’m thinking about using. The script fetches the RSS feed from my YouTube channel and formats the latest videos into a handy blog post. This will let blog readers know that I am, in fact, not dead, and still, in fact, playing games now and then. It’s quite a pain in the butt to keep updating a blog with that kind of information in a timely manner, not even counting writing about what’s in the games. (Some day I want to try out one of those open source AI writing services hehe.)

Anyway, on with the Pillars of Eternity adventures! (I’m almost finished uploading this series, just so you know. It will be followed by “various random free games I’ve tried out lately” videos.)

Pillars of Eternity, Pt 42 - Dyrford Crossing. Normal difficulty, Level 7. The party explores Dyrford Crossing, looking for a Dragon Egg and an Ogre that’s been terrorizing Dyrford Village, ending up in a grisly cave of spiders. Recorded 1/18/2021.

Pillars of Eternity, Pt 43 - Ogre Battle. Normal difficulty, Level 7. A Farmer’s Plea: After battling through a grisly cave of spiders, the party returns to town with a stinking, dripping prize. Recorded 1/18/2021.

Pillars of Eternity, Pt 44 - Dyrford Ruins Part 1. Normal difficulty, Level 7. The party enters the Dyrford Ruins in search of the missing Aelys. Recorded 1/18/2021.

Pillars of Eternity, Pt 45 - Dyrford Ruins Part 2. Normal difficulty, Level 7. The party continues to search the Dyrford Ruins for the missing Aelys, and finds a disturbing secret. Recorded 1/18/2021.

Pillars of Eternity, Pt 46 - Clîaban Rilag Level 1. Normal difficulty, Level 7. The party travels to the ruins of Clîaban Rilag. Fragments of a Scattered Faith: Edér searches for evidence of his brother on the battlefield. Recorded 1/19/2021.

Pillars of Eternity, Pt 47 - Clîaban Rilag Level 2. Normal difficulty, Level 7. The party continues to explore the second level of the ruins of Clîaban Rilag. Recorded 1/19/2021.

Pillars of Eternity, Pt 48 - The Animancy Trials. Normal difficulty, Level 8. The party finishes up with Clîaban Rilag and returns to Defiance Bay, where dramatic events unfold at the palace during the Animancy Trials. Act III begins. Recorded 1/19/2021.

Pillars of Eternity, Pt 51 - Built to Last. Normal difficulty, Level 8. The party returns to Defiance Bay, where they work on reputation with the Crucible Knights. Built to Last: The party helps build robots. Recorded 1/20/2021.

Pillars of Eternity, Pt 52 - Missing Sentries. Normal difficulty, Level 8. The party continues to build reputation with the Crucible Knights in Defiance Bay. Safe Haven: The party rescues a child from Heritage Hill. Missing Sentries: The party searches for some missing Crucible Knights in Heritage Hill. Recorded 1/20/2021.

Pillars of Eternity, Pt 53 - Searing Falls. Normal difficulty, Level 8. Cinders of Faith: Drem’s Merchant Crew travels to the terrifying Searing Falls to find a token of Magran’s faith, and earns an expanded nickname. Recorded 1/20/2021.

Pillars of Eternity, Pt 54 - House Doemenel. Normal difficulty, Level 8. The party returns to Defiance Bay to clean up some more side quests and gain some reputation with the Doemenel faction. Two-Story Job: The party helps steal a gem. Hard Feelings: The party helps Lady Doemenel exact vengeance. Parable of Wael: A quick side trip to find a scroll of Wael. Recorded 1/21/2021.

Pillars of Eternity, Pt 55 - Endless Paths of Od Nua Level 3. Normal difficulty, Level 8. The party takes a break from epic story for a good old-fashioned Ogre-slaying dungeon crawl, on the Endless Paths Level 3. Recorded 1/21/2021.
