Grand Theft Auto

Tom 145 words

During most of the huge gap that I didn’t post anything about gaming, I was usually playing Grand Theft Auto 3 and GTA: San Andreas, which I got in a big Steam package for like $29.99.  Now I understand why everyone thought those games were so revolutionary and awesome.

GTA3 and GTA:SA pretty much rocked, although the storyline was a bit over-the-top sometimes.  I did find it annoying that you could drive anywhere but you could only enter a handful of buildings.

I didn’t play Vice City too much because it was basically the same as GTA3.  Also I made the mistake of going from GTA3 to SA and it was hard to go back to the more primitive controls of Vice City after that.

Anyway, GTA gets a 5… out of 5.  When the price comes down I’ll have to check out GTA 4.
