Elmer and Anna’s Wedding Date

The other day, I found an invitation to Elmer and Anna’s wedding, which shows the wedding date as April 1, 1926. Previously, I had always thought their wedding was April 1, 1925, because Dad had noted on his slides that Elmer and Anna’s 25th anniversary party was on April 1, 1950. So I suppose that means the 25th anniversary was actually on April 1, 1951. I haven’t yet gone through and revised all those photo captions yet. I also thought it was interesting that Anna was listed as “Mrs. Anna Rector.” Times have changed quite a bit since 1926, I guess.
