No Primaries For Me

193 words.

Primary day today in Virginia, but not for me.  It’s just another boring work day unless you live in the 8th, 10th, or 11th districts.

Here in the 7th, we can look forward to Democrat Anita Hartke running against incumbent Republican Eric Cantor this November.

I’ve also read that Will Griffith is running as an Independent in the 7th, but I can’t verify that at the moment because most IT departments with any sense automatically block Myspace.  Congresspedia says his official site is here, but it’s just a GoDaddy parking page.  The FEC does not have any record of him yet.

P.S.  To voters in the 8th, please don’t fall for this incredibly obvious attempt at last-minute voter fraud.  Humorous translation:  “Breaking Shocking Developing Story!  I heard from a friend of a roommate’s mother’s cousin’s son that Mark Ellmore said something really bad.  Err, no, sorry there’s no credible proof or corroborating evidence to support my claim but I swear it’s true!  I promise I wouldn’t make something like this up the night before the primary!  And it’s entirely coincidental that I fully endorse Ellmore’s opponent, honest!”  Nice integrity there, George Mason Republicans.
