If Ned Wins…

Blogspot readers: This is yet another post that didn’t get posted on the first try. Yes, Blogspot sucks that much. But hey, it’s free. Originally posted August 8, 2006, 9:56 pm.

I’m sitting here this evening watching the Lamont/Lieberman primary results coming in, and wondering about the popular opinion that this primary is a referendum on the Iraq “war.” I don’t see it that way. If Ned wins, I think it signals the beginning of a new era of Rovian politics in the Democratic Party, which will further degenerate American politics for everyone. (If that’s possible. :)
