Endgame Viable

There’s an all-out smackdown happening tonight on MSNBC: The debate between People-Powered Hero Ned Lamont and the Evil, Traitorous Joe Lieberman. They are facing off soon in the Connecticut Democratic primary.

I’ll be rooting for Lieberman, of course, because he must be doing something right to draw so much ire from Kos and co. Har-har. Plus Lieberman is such a lovable character. But seriously, I prefer moderates on just about every political issue, and Ned is, um, not one of them. On his site, he actually singles out Congressman Jack “Our Marines Are Definitely War Criminals” Murtha as someone he looks up to. That might play well with the Cindy Sheehan crowd, but it doesn’t do much for me.
