North Korea Tests Catapults

169 words.

Looks like North Korea is now rivaling Iran for the Tinpot Dictator Of the Month award. But for some reason I still have a hard time taking the ol’ Democratic People’s Republic of Korea seriously. Maybe it was that whole “I’m so rone-ry” song in Team America: World Police that did it. Anyway, North Korea finally went and test-launched their crappy old missiles. But even knowing they have nuclear capability doesn’t make it feel like anything I should lose sleep over, in comparison to the threats from, say, Iran, terrorists, creeping Sharia, and the AFA. I suppose missiles from North Korea could potentially do a lot more tactical damage than a handful of suicide bombers, but missiles just don’t feel scary anymore. Like I said before, now that the Cold War is over, ICBM warfare just seems passé. Almost like someone were threatening us with crossbows and catapults. I hope the people in charge of our national defense are taking North Korea a little more seriously than I am.
