Rove Fuels Childish Wingnuts

160 words.

It’s started. I guess this will be the story of the day: Let the gloating begin: Rove cleared in Plame case. This exemplifies why I think Malkin and Kos are two sides of the same coin: Childishness. And this wingnut blogger celebration is over… not being indicted. Kind of a strange thing to gloat about.

Now to address the spin. There’s a big difference between “not being charged” and being “cleared,” as I’m sure the Hot Air writers know quite well. “Not being charged” could just as easily mean that he “got away with it.” I think any reasonable person would have to concede that political figures at Rove’s level of government couldn’t possibly be pure as the driven snow. So by all means, let’s all celebrate this latest example of government being above the law. As they say after a football player shoves someone while the ref has his back turned, “looks like he got away with one there.”
