Minutemen Being Watched

120 words.

By Thomas Krehbiel

If you haven’t heard, there was an article in The Daily Bulletin that claimed:

According to three documents on the Mexican Secretary of Foreign Relations Web site, the U.S. Border Patrol is to notify the Mexican government as to the location of Minutemen and other civilian border patrol groups when they participate in apprehending illegal immigrants.

The Minutemen are outraged. Michelle Malkin is outraged. Hot Air is outraged. Oh, the vile treachery of the U.S. government for… um… frowning on citizens that take the law into their own hands. Maybe I’m missing something, but keeping tabs on the actions of the Minutemen seems like a good thing. Surely they don’t think they should be above government accountability?
