One Year Later

143 words.

Well, today is the first offical day of “Cousin Camp at Forest Brook.” This is an event that brings together a large number of nieces and nephews and other miscellaneous young folk at our house for the week. (Yes, you read that right, the entire week.) I have just finished the last-minute preparations (ie., the honey-do list of cleaning tasks) and am now sitting down for a quiet moment before things get, um, campy.

Today is also the one-year anniversary of our moving into our new house on Forest Brook. Coincidence? You be the judge! It is rather sad, though, as I look around my computer room, that there are still as many unpacked boxes as there are.

Also coincidentally, the temperature outside is somewhere in the vicinity of Unbelievably Hot And Humid, just like it was last year on this very day.
