  • The Best Offense Is A Good Suicide. 2006-06-12. TomPaine.com gets a wag of my finger for spreading this blatant propaganda from the lawyer of some Gitmo detainees: A tunnel without end. I agree that when those 3 detainees hanged themselves, it was a sign of desperation – but it was desperate defiance, not depression – you know, the kind of thing an enemy combatant might do. Seeing as how suicide vests are such integral parts of terrorist combat tactics, it seems like a no-brainer that we should take an Islamist suicide as an act of aggression.

  • The Dullest Of Blog Entries. 2006-06-30. They say the difference between a “real writer” and a “struggling writer” is in their ability to write when they don’t feel like writing. So in that spirit, I am now writing a blog entry even though I don’t particularly feel like it and there is nothing particularly interesting to write about.
