Slashdot Advises Future Criminals

109 words.

This caught my eye: Don’t Google “How To Commit Murder” Before Killing. Slashdot makes it sound like The Powers That Be can call up Google and Microsoft and get a list of your searches to use against you in a court case, but that’s not what happened. The police seized the defendant’s computers and simply looked at their search history, which is usually recorded by default where anyone can look at it. So if you’re concerned about anyone seizing your computer and using it against you, you should probably wipe your browsing history every now and then. Especially if you’re planning to chop up your spouse into little pieces.
