Oh My, A Chinese Satellite Killer

Tom 126 words

Wow, I just saw this: U.S. official: Chinese test missile obliterates satellite. That’s some scary stuff right there. The only consolation is that it only has a 25% success rate so far. I hope we have a similar weapon. But then even if we did, we couldn’t exactly defend against people trying to blow up our satellites. And losing satellites would have a rather significant impact on our economy, not to mention our military superiority. Let’s hope China won’t be in the mood to sell that satellite-killing technology to people like, say, Iran. Oh wait, China is one of the few countries that actually does business with Iran. Doh!
