Still Immigration Protests?

Okay, the immigration bill was scrapped last week, so why are people still marching in protest today?
Malkin has been absurdly paranoid on the immigration front, in my opinion, and continues today: Muslims For Open Borders. She points out that some Muslim groups are demonstrating with Latinos, and she offers up a study of 48 previous terrorists to illustrate why we need to shut down the borders and boot everyone out.
But — of the 48 terrorists studied, only 12 were in the country illegally. That’s 12 total terrorists out of, what, 11 million illegal immigrants? That seems like a pretty good success rate, and not a great argument for kicking people out. Even if all 48 of those terrorists were illegal, that’s still a pretty good record. And surely Malkin doesn’t think that a draconian border policy will entirely eliminate every single potential terrorist? I suspect they’ll be able to figure out how to infiltrate the country through entirely legal means (her cited study showed that 36 of the terrorists had done so). Besides, it won’t be too long before most of the terrorists are born on American soil anyway.
