Mission Statement

I’m starting this blog as a response to Greg Krehbiel’s Crowhill Weblog. Greg Krehbiel is a conservative Roman Catholic advocate. This by itself wouldn’t be enough for me to start a blog, but unfortunately, the Crowhill Weblog ranks fairly high in a Google search for “Krehbiel,” so anyone searching for information about the Krehbiel family name would find Greg Krehbiel and his blog to be one of the first ambassadors of the surname. That doesn’t sit very well with me.
I feel it’s important to show the world that there are Krehbiels around that aren’t offensive-at least in the same kind of way. (I imagine it’s the same sort of campaign that Osama bin Laden’s cousin Frankie might engage in.) Toward that end, I also hope to point out the acheivements of other Krehbiels on the Internet, through tedious Google searches.
At this point in my life, I find myself in a sort of search process for my place within the religion spectrum, so from time to time I may comment on random issues that occur to me during the process. I don’t intend to get involved in advocating any particular view-my purpose here is more to respond to the absolute thinking typically found in extremist rheteroic-but you will probably discern that I lean slightly left of center.
If you are a potential employer deciding whether or not to hire me based on this information, shame on you.
