- 10:51 # So the main problem with outdoor cat starting to want to stay indoors at night now is that outdoor cat has no concept of the normal human sleep schedule, like indoor cat does. Outdoor cat is ready for action at like 4 am, and the way my house is situated there’s no way to stop him from jumping on top of me in bed, purring and clawing at me until I get up and throw him outside again.

14:55 # I haven’t watched football in a while. What has happened to the uniforms? The Washington Commanders look like they’re all doused in ketchup and mustard. Also, it looks like there’s about half as much padding now than there used to be.

18:01 # Well… some mistakes have been made with my first AI-generated casserole recipe, Chicken Enchilada Casserole. Mistake 1 was making a full 13x9 pan worth of food that I had no idea whether it would be edible or not. Mistake 2 was improvising and adding some uncooked rice just to see if that would actually work, because it was a big component of another of the AI recipes. Turns out it didn’t work. Otherwise it wasn’t that great, especially with the crunchy bits that are probably going to give me food poisoning. I’m attempting to salvage it by re-cooking it a whole lot longer but I expect I’m going to have to just throw this out. Boo.
- 18:08 # I did some additional research on putting uncooked rice into casseroles because I’d never heard of such a thing before, and it turns out that there are a lot of non-AI recipes that do in fact call for it. But they also call for stuff like chicken broth and other liquids which presumably work better for cooking the rice in an oven. I dunno. It seems to me it would be safer to pre-cook the rice in water because crunchy rice bits in a casserole sucks.
This is a homegrown DIY comment system I'm working on. It technically works but it hasn't been through extensive testing yet. Good luck. Go here to enter a comment on this post without Javascript.
