Videos

If you’re interested in watching people play games, here’s my YouTube channel. I put videos there because they’re fun to make and so I have a backup in case my hard drive crashes.

Recently I’ve started building index pages of my videos. I put a lot of behind-the-scenes engineering work into making these pages so go look at them. :)

A bit of history. I first started recording videos in 2015, and have been doing so off and on ever since. These days I have automated systems in place to upload something new almost every day.

Even before 2015, before it was even possible to record gameplay videos, back in the heady days of Quake in 1997, I was fascinated by recording “demos” of my gameplay. Here’s a video rendering of the very first time I was in a demo recording, sometime in 1997: Quake CTF 2-on-2 KoC Tournament, Salamander and Infector (I was Salamander).
