Dispatches from @ultrviolet@gts.endgameviable.com:

Potential spoilers for Baldur’s Gate 3, the end of Act 2 and the beginning of Act 3.

10:50 # I didn’t think it could be possible for me to record another video series that might rival the number of episodes in my Elden Ring series, but these Baldur’s Gate 3 videos are approaching 150 episodes. Still 100 shy of the Elden Ring videos, but I’ve barely started Act 3, and I haven’t gotten to Baldur’s Gate yet. #baldursgate3

18:31 # I can’t believe I’m saying this but the D&D movie has completely charmed me. It’s got a very low-budget 80s sword-and-sorcery movie ascetic, sort of like a Mel Brooks version of Conan the Destroyer. #movies

19:24 # I genuinely can’t remember the last genre movie that I thought was just plain old-fashioned fun to watch. SFF media, generally speaking, is pretty awful corporate drivel these days. Must have been in a weird head space today to allow a D&D movie to penetrate the wall of jaded anti-blockbuster defenses I’ve built up over decades. #movies

21:25 # Baldur’s Gate 3. Arrived in Wyrm’s Crossing and went to a circus, where there is about a million things to see and people to talk to. Fought some dopplegangers. Reached level 9! #baldursgate3
